Chip’s Transport is a customer oriented provider for transporting specialized equipment to businesses and the general public. We are located in Huntingtown, Maryland and service the Washington DC and Baltimore metro areas in addition to the southern Maryland area. We also service long haul transporting areas on a case by case basis.
We have been servicing customers since 1994. We’ve grown into a full transport business that covers a wide footprint. Our ICC authority can take us from Maine to Florida, west of the Mississippi, and south into Texas.
Our transport drivers have many years of experience in cargo securement and equipment hauling. Chip’s Transport takes great effort to be in compliance with all facets of the transportation industry and is appropriately insured.
Our multi-sized fleet ensures you get the truck and price based on your size and weight requirements. We have single axle to tri axle tractors, light duty to heavy duty tandem axle rollbacks with multiple bed sizes, as well as multiple sized trailer types including hydraulic landolls and beaver tails, air ride dry van boxes, flat beds, step deck, small cargo, removable goose neck(lowboy), dump and demo.
Our fleet can accommodate a tow ball, pintle hook or 5th wheel towaways.
Our competitive pricing is augmented with a fuel surcharge where necessary as trying to embed fuel price fluctuations in our pricing is difficult.
Our office hours are from 7am to 5pm with 24/7 phone coverage for after-hours emergency transport.
